October 20th, 2020
For the 4th annual Donut and Beer Festival, things are going to be a bit different! We have overcome some major feats to bring Donut and Beer Fest safely back to Kalamazoo in 2020. Here are the details:
The Donut and Beer Festival event plan has been approved by the Northwoods League, City of Kalamazoo Parks and Recreation, and The Kalamazoo County Health and Community Services Department.
Donut and Beer Fest will be hosting a maximum of 500 people per wave for a total of 1,500 people in a 5,000 seat stadium over an 8-hour span.
With these 3 separate waves throughout the day, we will take 30 minutes in between each wave to reset, sanitize, and clean high touch areas.
While we started this event in Kalamazoo and have grown each year, we’re excited to be able to bring the Donut and Beer Festival back to Kalamazoo during these uncertain times.
Because we are familiar with the venue, we’re excited to have the ability to safely host an attendance of 500 people at a time, while still keeping this an all-ages event. Attendees can still expect great donuts, beer and cider sampling, music, and games.
